Music Director/Organist

Immanuel United Church of Christ is excited to welcome a new Music Director/Organist to lead and inspire our vibrant music ministry. The Music Director/Organist will oversee and lead the music ministry, including planning and coordinating music for worship services, special events, and church functions. This role involves directing and accompanying choirs, collaborating with ministry leaders, and enhancing the overall worship experience. This position is part-time, with expected work hours ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on the specific role and responsibilities. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of directing church music programs and worship planning is preferred , • A Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Ministry, or a related field is preferred , • Strong knowledge of vocal techniques , • Excellent organizational and leadership skills , • Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers , • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
