Position Overview
Strait Music Company is seeking a passionate, organized, and relationship-driven Music Education Accounts Manager to join our Outside Educational Accounts Team. Often referred to as “Road Reps,” our education sales specialists work directly with local school band programs, providing hands-on support and personalized service to band directors and music educators.
This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration, enjoys being out in the community, and has a strong background in school band programs and sales. No two days are the same- you’ll split your time between our stores, schools, and on-the-road support.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with local band directors and school music programs
• Travel to schools to provide in-person service and support
• Deliver instruments, accessories, and supplies
• Coordinate and facilitate instrument repair services
• Host and assist with in-school instrument rental events
• Serve as a trusted partner and resource for music educators
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience in school band programs (marching, concert, jazz, etc.) at the high school and/or college level required
• Strong working knowledge of brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the local area
• Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,500.00 - $55,500.00 per year
