Music Educational Representative

Primary responsibilities include: • Outreach to local band and orchestra programs in schools, community arts organizations, and non‑profit organizations • Weekly visits to local school districts • Fostering and retaining relationships with the musical community in Fairfield County, CT and surrounding areas • Community outreach in the form of “instrument try‑out” and “instrument petting‑zoo” events and other outreach opportunities to recruit student interest • Instrument inventory management, accounting for the instrument rental program and generating proposals and quotes for schools as needed with appropriate follow‑up and delivery • Managing the success of the school music program at Creative Music Center Pay will be commensurate with experience, in the range of $20‑23 per hour.
