Key Responsibilities: • Teach general music to students in Pre-K through 8th Grade • Lead music for liturgical celebrations Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Music • Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Teaching Certificate – Temporary or Professional required • Roman Catholic in good standing, with extensive knowledge of Catholic liturgy • Strong ability to integrate liturgy with musical expression in a school environment • Keyboard proficiency and familiarity with liturgical service-playing techniques • Choral conducting experience and group vocal technique skills • Knowledge of both contemporary and traditional sacred music repertoire • Strong oral and written communication skills in English; Spanish fluency required • Ability to communicate musical concepts to a diverse student population • Performance proficiency in both keyboard and voice • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with clergy, staff, students, and volunteers • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain poise and focus under pressure Prior experience in a Roman Catholic school or parish setting is preferred, as is a respectful and supportive attitude towards the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
