Music Educator

We are seeking a skilled Music Educator to provide music and performance lessons as a part-time employee. The ideal candidate will use a structured curriculum to deliver engaging and well-rounded music education to students of all ages. Key Responsibilities: • Teach private, semi-private, and group lessons using a developed curriculum • Create a motivating learning environment • Evaluate student readiness for band or ensemble participation • Support school events • Maintain equipment as needed Required Qualifications: • Demonstrate a strong grasp of music concepts and effective communication skills • Advanced understanding of music theory and relevant technique • Excellent time management and organizational abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with diverse personalities • Proven performance experience either solo or in groups • Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians • Capacity to interact effectively with children (ages 3-17) and adults • Ability to pass a background check
