Job Description • Under the guidance of the school administration, develop students' understanding and appreciation of music. • Assessment and Instruction: Continuously assess student musical progress and modify instructional methods as needed. • Maintain accurate and complete records of student activities, achievement, and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws. • Student Conduct: Ensure student conduct conforms to school standards and policies, and establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to ensure a productive learning atmosphere during practice, rehearsal, and performances. • Successful prior teaching experience in music for the appropriate grade level preferred.
