Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: • Three years experience in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating employment and training programs. • Three years experience in public relations, media relations or communications such as establishing and promoting a positive image with the public, informing or influencing specific audiences through the use of internal and external communications such as public forums, journalism, writing, marketing, advertising, promotions, or special events. • Knowledge of developing policies or procedures. Each season, MAP leaders meet with school administrators, teachers and parents to customize a series of sequential workshops (aligned with VAPA standards) culminating in a live and virtual concert program. The program is offered tuition free to marginalized youth, their teachers and the specific communities they live in.
