Job Summary The University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Ensemble Director to lead the newly-formed Pep Band. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, ensemble direction, and student recruitment. Duties and Responsibilities • Recruit current and prospective students to join the Pep Band • Direct weekly rehearsals prior to and during the basketball season • Lead performances at all in-conference home basketball games • Collaborate with the Music Department on logistical and musical needs Minimum Qualifications • Undergraduate degree in Music or related field • Experience playing in or directing musical ensembles • Excellent communication skills • Ability to serve as the public face of the Pep Band
