About KAM
Knoxville Academy of Music is a thriving private music school in Farragut serving around 300 students across all ages and skill levels. We're growing, and we're looking for skilled, passionate musicians to join our instructor team as independent contractors.
We're not a franchise or a corporate lessons program. We're a locally rooted school that genuinely cares about students and the people who teach them.
What We're Looking For
We're actively recruiting instructors for the following instruments and disciplines:

What the Role Looks Like
You set your availability — we fill it with studentsLessons are held at our Farragut studioYou maintain your own teaching style and approachPaid per completed lessonTransparent, consistent pay structureSupportive office staff handles scheduling, billing, and enrollment so you can focus on teachingWhat We're Looking For in You
Proficiency on your instrument(s) with the ability to teach beginner through advanced studentsExperience teaching private lessons preferred, but not required for exceptional musiciansFormal music training, a degree in music, or equivalent professional performance backgroundStrong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with students of all agesReliability and follow-through — our students and families count on consistencyhttps://www.knoxvilleacademyofmusic.com/teach-with-us/

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
