Requirements: Good candidates to teach at School of Rock may include: • Professional working musicians looking for a way to fill in the gaps of their gigging schedule • Non-professional musicians who are proficient in their instrument, and enjoy the teaching process • College/University music students who wish to earn extra money with a part time job (that could lay the foundation for a career in music post-graduation) To succeed as an instructor at School of Rock, you must be: • Flexible, enthusiastic, patient, and have a positive attitude • Able to discuss the ongoing development of your students with their parents • Coachable in regards to the School of Rock teaching method About the School: School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums, and combines weekly private music lessons and group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting.
