Our current teachers are almost completely booked and we are looking to grow our team to accommodate "back to school" enrollments and anticipated growth when we open the new building (likely September). All positions are part time (12-20 hour/week) to start, with potential for growth and building up to a full time schedule (this is NOT 1099/contract work). Benefits for full-time employees include health insurance & paid time off. We are looking for instructors with the following skills and experience: · College degree (or degree-in-progress) in music preferred. If self-taught, must demonstrate strong understanding of music theory · 2 or more years teaching music · 2 or more years performing live music, preferably in a rock band setting · Ability to tailor a music curriculum to individual student needs · Be a good communicator with students (of all ages), parents, show directors, and management · Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor · Resourceful, good problem-solving skills, ability to work well and stay focused in a dynamic environment · Good judgement is a must Candidates must be able to pass a background check and provide references.
