DESCRIPTION: Pennridge seeks a music teacher to implement the elementary music and instructional curriculum as well as perform all the duties of an elementary instrumental band teacher PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: The elementary music teacher is responsible for teaching music education to students. Individuals in this role help pupils grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences, including: singing, moving to music, listening, and playing of instruments. Maintain and extend professional knowledge and skills through activities such as graduate study, participation in staff development, professional reading and other appropriate activities as defined in the District's Act 48 Plan. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
