Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Music Manager role based in Fayetteville, NC, with some flexibility for work from home. The Music Manager will oversee day-to-day music operations, including coordinating music licensing, managing music supervision tasks for projects, and supporting music production workflows. Responsibilities include liaising with artists, producers, and rights holders, organizing music catalogs and metadata, and ensuring timely delivery of tracks and assets. The role also involves negotiating and tracking licensing agreements, aligning music choices with creative briefs, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners. The Music Manager will help develop processes that support efficient project execution and consistent quality across all music-related deliverables.

Qualifications

Strong music-focused expertise, with skills in Music and Music Production.Experience managing rights and agreements, including Music Licensing.Background in project-level oversight, including Music Supervision.Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with artists, partners, and internal stakeholders.Knowledge of music industry standards, contracts, and metadata best practices.Ability to organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a hybrid environment.Prior experience in artist management, label operations, sync placements, or related roles is beneficial.Proficiency with common music production or catalog management tools (e.g., DAWs, asset management systems) is a plus.
