Music Minister: NGC Summit View

The Music Minister will oversee all aspects of NGC's music team, including: • Volunteer recruitment and development for band members and production teams • Caring for, investing in, and helping disciple our musicians and production volunteers • Overseeing scheduling of all Sunday morning bands and production volunteers (working in collaboration with our Communications Coordinator Chloe Thomas) • Overseeing the primary song catalog to help "guard the gate" seeing music as a formational tool that teaches theology, shapes discipleship, and creates culture • Embraces seeking to contextualize musical worship to a PNW context • Overseeing all aspects of the music administrative tasks (i.e. Planning Center, chord charts, gear storage and organization, etc.) The Music Minister, alongside the Local Lead Pastor, will be involved in the creation and execution of the Sunday morning liturgy at NGC: Summit View. This Music Minister's role will play a key role in cultivating a culture of creativity, beauty, and art in our SV church family.
