Welch Music Center is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Music Retail Sales Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for music, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a retail environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Details

Part-time position: 20–30 hours per week
Flexible scheduling, including some Saturdays
Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Responsibilities

Assist customers with musical instrument, accessory, and sheet music purchases
Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer needs and skill levels
Answer questions regarding instruments, lessons, rentals, and repair services
Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting showroom
Process sales transactions and assist with inventory management
Receive and stock merchandise shipments
Help create a positive and welcoming experience for all customers

Qualifications

Passion for music and musical instruments
Strong customer service and communication skills
Retail sales experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of band, orchestra, piano, guitar, or other musical instruments is a plus
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Ability to lift and move instruments and merchandise as needed
