Music School Director

Extensive training in all aspects of school operations, including sales, facilities management, hiring, scheduling, billing, etc., will be provided. Bach to Rock provides its students a well-balanced music education. In addition to offering a great workplace environment, we offer a 401k savings plan. Health insurance is also available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide an exceptional music education experience for students delivering strong engagement with each child and maximizing student enrollment Manage and participate in all levels of sales and promotions to drive school growth Provide a top-quality customer service experience Plan, manage and oversee successful show/band/event production, providing students with inspirational performance opportunities Manage staff performance and the school facility to provide a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for all students and employees Financial management of the school including but not limited to analyzing results, tracking budgets, time- tracking, and scheduling Key Attributes Passion for music and music education, with the belief that access to arts education enriches the lives for students of all ages Passion for driving business growth Ability to promote and sell our excellent programs so that we become the go-to place for parents and students looking for music lessons Ability to create and maintain positive relationships internally and externally, always operating with professionalism and integrity Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting Ability to motivate and manage employees within a collegial setting Education and Experience Proven sales and customer-service experience in a retail or educational environment Experience with marketing and communications Experience with event planning preferred Must be a collaborator who works well across diverse populations, ages (pre- school through adult students) Strong work ethic Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred (i.e., business, management, music, etc.)
