This is a unique opportunity for someone who can both perform and hostleading fun, engaging experiences like Open Mic Nights, Karaoke Night, Ukulele Jam Clubs, Family Game Nights (and much more) while helping us build something truly special from the ground up. What Youll Do Host & Perform Lead weekly and monthly events:Open Mic NightsKaraoke NightsFamily Game NightsUkulele Jam ClubsAct as the host/emceewelcoming guests, keeping energy high, and guiding the flowPerform occasionally to:Kick off eventsFill transitionsSupport less experienced performersCreate Musical Experiences Use your instrument to enhance events:Accompany singers (huge plus if you play ukulele, guitar, or piano)Lead group sing-alongsCreate fun, low-pressure performance opportunities for beginnersBuild the Program Work directly with ownership to:Shape and evolve this brand-new roleDevelop new event ideasImprove attendance and engagement over timeBuild Community Create a welcoming environment for students and familiesEncourage participation from all skill levelsHelp turn first-time visitors into long-term members of our communityWhat Were Looking For Must-Haves: You sing and play at least one instrumentUkulele is idealGuitar or piano strongly preferredComfortable performing in front of a groupConfident, engaging personality (you can hold a room)You Might Be Perfect If You: Are the person who naturally becomes the center of attention (in a good way)Love getting people involved and having funCan read a room and adjust energy on the flyHave ideas for events and actually follow through on themWant to help build somethingnot just show up and executeBonus Skills: Experience hosting events, teaching, or performing liveBasic sound system / mic handling knowledgeSocial media or event promotion experienceSchedule Primarily weekday eveningsFlexible hours based on event calendarCompensation Hourly pay (based on experience)Opportunities for performance-based bonuses tied to event growth and attendanceFree or discounted music lessonsWhy This Role is Different Youre helping build a signature community experience in Castro ValleyYoull have creative input and real ownershipThis role can grow into something much bigger with the right personHow to Apply Send us: A short intro about yourselfYour musical background (instrument + singing)Any performance or hosting experience(Optional but encouraged) A video of you playing/singingFinal Thought Were not just looking for a musician.
