Pay starts at $14/hour, advancement opportunities are available with tenure.

Daily duties include:

Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually to make them feel welcome
Maintain a presentable and clean store. Continuously restock merchandise and clean when appropriate.
Check in and merchandise product as assigned by supervisor on duty.
Maintain safety standards by keeping walkways clear.
Be able to work 8 hours a day on your feet and lift/shift boxes of shipment.

Requirements

Sales experience in a retail environment
Love and knowledge of music and Austin
Knowledge of guitars/ukuleles or have an interest in learning about them
Be comfortable talking to strangers, usually about your shared love of music
Work and communicate well with staff members
Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 24 Hrs/wk,3 days/Wk Scheduled hours may change weekly but will be a mix of opening/closing shifts between the hours of 10am-10pm
Since we are in the heart of downtown, parking is tricky to nonexistent, we pay for bus passes.
