Music Teacher

• Looking to hire some amazing new music teachers who enjoy working with little kids* We are a fun and creative arts school which teaches musical instruments, bands, production, and songwriting, as well as other creative labs outside of music. We are looking to hire skilled musicians who are adept at multiple instruments ideally but with a focus on voice, and piano, guitar, drums and ukulele. Applicants should be comfortable to play in a group setting and to train students in rockband, or ensemble music as well as run weekly private lessons for ideally two or more primary instruments. Ideally we want fun and communicative staff who are easy to work with, and organized, and have flexible availability for 2-5 teaching days each week, for 4-6 hour time blocks, typically starting as early as 9 or 10 am and going into the early afternoon, or covering some later afterschool hours and teaching as late as 6 -8 pm. Job also requires periodic involvement in concerts, parades, festivals, and other performance scenarios where students will be prepared to play for events and teachers may need to be involved in the performance days for duets or teacher ensembles/bands.
