Music Teacher

We offer private lessons for piano, voice & singing, electric, acoustic, and bass guitar, ukulele, drums, violin, viola and cello. The Academy of Music is hiring qualified music teachers for piano, voice, guitar, drums, and strings at both their Jenison and Grand Rapids locations. A college degree in music is NOT required. Music Teacher Responsibilities: • teach weekly private music lessons • teach 1-2 group make-up classes each year • prepare students for attend annual winter and spring recitals • prepare recorded lessons or teach live video lessons when students request them Music Teacher Benefits: • flexible schedule • network with other musicians/educators • make money doing what you love • focus on teaching, not marketing or customer service • two locations - Grand Rapids and Jenison
