Spotlight Academy is Mint Hill’s leading performing arts studio, committed to cultivating creativity, confidence, and excellence in every student. We provide high-quality instruction in music, acting, dance, and visual arts, led by passionate and experienced industry professionals.

Our music program offers comprehensive training in piano, voice, guitar, drums, and a variety of additional instruments, serving students of all ages and skill levels. Spotlight Performance Academy also produces full-scale theatrical productions throughout the year, creating a dynamic, collaborative environment for artistic growth both on and off the stage.

The Position

We are seeking skilled and engaging music instructors specializing in guitar, piano, and/or drums to join our growing faculty. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded musician with strong technical ability and a passion for teaching, who can effectively connect with students of all ages and experience levels.

Instructors who are able to teach multiple instruments are strongly encouraged to apply. Multi-instrument proficiency will be given priority consideration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in guitar, piano, and/or drum instruction, with a strong foundation in technique and music theory

• Experience teaching students of varying ages and skill levels

• Ability to prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families

• Adaptability in teaching methods to support a variety of learning styles

• Availability to teach 1–3 days per week, with flexible scheduling based on studio needs

Location

This is an in-person position based in Mint Hill, North Carolina.
