We are currently hiring part-time music teachers in the Birmingham area for piano, voice, guitar, and drum instruction across our six studio locations. Pay & ScheduleStarting at $26.50/hourHigher starting rates available based on education & experiencePart-time, hourly W-2 positionConsistent weekly teaching scheduleAfternoon/evening availability preferredOpportunities for additional administrative, event and performance-based work also available
What You’ll DoTeach fun, engaging private music lessons to students of all ages and experience levelsBuild positive, mentor-style relationships with students and familiesHelp students grow in confidence, creativity, discipline, and musicianshipCreate lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals and interestsTrack student progress and communicate effectively with parentsPrepare students for recitals Collaborate with an encouraging and supportive administrative team
What We’re Looking ForIdeal candidates are:
Strong musicians with proficiency in piano, voice, guitar, and/or drumsExcellent communicators who work well with both children and adultsReliable, punctual, organized, and professionalPositive, patient, and encouraging teachersComfortable adapting lessons to different learning styles and personalitiesPassionate about helping students develop a lifelong love of music
Teaching experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates without direct experience who have strong musical backgrounds and natural interpersonal skills.
