Music Teacher

Bach To Rock (“B2R”) America’s Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking a Music Teacher to work as a part-time or full-time employee providing music and performance lessons to students. Music Teachers at Bach to Rock use B2R curriculum to provide students of all ages an inspiring and well-balanced music education. Bach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part-time or full-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. Ability to read music (treble and bass clef) is an essential function of this roleMust demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to studentsMust have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrumentEffective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lessonComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalitiesExperienced performer (either solo or group)Experience working with youth and/or beginning musiciansAbility to interact effectively with children and adultsAbility to pass a background checkBach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians. Starting pay range is determined by education level, years of teaching experience, professional performance experience, number of instruments taught, number of programs qualified to teach, and in-person audition.Medical, dental, and vision benefits are offered to all employees working 17.5 hours per week or more: CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO; employer pays 80% premium for medical coverage for employee.Employer 401(k) match up to 6% pay (Must be over 21 years of age to participate and work 1000 hrs./year)Wages are declared on W-2, not a 1099 contractor.Tuition reimbursement program for approved coursework from an accredited institution of higher learning: must work 20+ hours/week; eligibility begins at 6 months of employment; $750/year and $3750 lifetime maximum; must remain at the company for 9 months after receiving reimbursement or pay it back.This Bach to Rock is locally owned and operated by:
