**Position:** Part-Time Music Teacher

The Goddard School of Montville is looking for a **fun, energetic, and engaging Music Teacher** to join our team!

We are seeking a music educator who enjoys working with young children and can create a joyful, age-appropriate musical experience for children ranging from **1 to 5 years old**.

Responsibilities

* Lead engaging, age-appropriate music classes for children ages 1–5
* Introduce children to music through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, and creative activities
* Create a positive, welcoming, and fun classroom environment
* Adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of different age groups
* Encourage children's creativity, confidence, and love of music
* Maintain a warm and professional relationship with children and staff

Qualifications

* Experience teaching music to young children preferred
* Music education, early childhood education, or related experience is a plus
* Must be energetic, patient, creative, and comfortable working with young children
* Ability to engage children through music, movement, and hands-on activities
* Reliable and professional

Schedule

This is a **part-time position requiring two Tuesdays per month**, from **8:30 AM to 12:30 PM**, beginning in **September 2026**.
