About the position
Guitar Center is looking for a Music Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching music lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, with a focus on increasing student count and ensuring student growth and enjoyment. The position also emphasizes nurturing a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect, and requires a Customer First mindset to provide an excellent Customer experience. Responsibilities
Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons CurriculumPartner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the communityAssist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experiencePartner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing the knowledge parents have as their child's Music TeacherCommunicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each studentShare students and/or parents’ goals and progress frequentlyAdditional duties as assignedRequirements
Previous experience in Music, Education, or related fieldAbility to teach the instrument that they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teachingBenefits
