Making the content they teach engaging, relevant, and meaningful to students' lives by aligning their instruction with the common core, essential standards, and 21st-century content which includes: global awareness, financial, economic, business, entrepreneurial literacy, civic literacy, and health awareness. Facilitating instruction using a variety of instructional methods that are appropriate for their students by integrating and utilizing technology. Using a variety of methods to assess what students have learned and to help them work in teams and develop leadership qualities.
