Music Therapist - Board Certified

TITLE: Music Therapist (Board Certified) REPORTS TO: Executive Director STATUS: Part-Time, Fractional (Non-Exempt) LOCATION: Minneapolis, On-Site; limited local travel as needed COMPENSATION: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience Hopewell Music Cooperative seeks a Board-Certified Music Therapist to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed music therapy services for youth and community members in North Minneapolis. The Music Therapist will deliver individual and group music therapy sessions, contribute to program planning and documentation, and collaborate with Hopewell staff, teaching artists, and community partners to support participant well-being and growth. Complete required documentation and session notes in a timely manner Contribute to program reflection, evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts Support outreach or community engagement activities as needed Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fractional role while collaborating with a team Demonstrated cultural responsiveness and commitment to equity and inclusion Alignment with Hopewell’s mission of community-based, youth-centered music education and wellness
