Music Therapist - Oahu area

The MT provides treatment individually or in a group setting utilizing instrumental or vocal music and music therapy techniques such as guided imagery or progressive relaxation. Essential Responsibilities: • Collaborates with members of the Interdisciplinary Team to identify patients who may be appropriate for music therapy and in planning music activities. • On an ongoing basis, evaluates the effectiveness of music therapy services with the patient and/or caregiver of patient. • Participates in agency Memorial Services and other events as such, when appropriate. Attends and participates in in-services, staff meetings and case conferences.
