Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is a non-profit hospital located in the beautiful city of Sarasota, Florida. The Music Therapist adheres to the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) scope of practice and competencies and applies the therapy process in pediatric and adult sessions, and in collaboration with the inter-professional care team, will design musical interventions based on therapeutic goals to improve patients psychological, physical, and social health. The Music Therapist will provide music therapy sessions at the bedside inviting clients to interact working towards established goals of care.
