Music Together® Teacher — Sunday Mornings in West Rogers Park

Music House Start Date: Mid-January 2026 Schedule: Sundays, 9:00–9:45 AM (with potential for additional classes) Location: West Rogers Park Studio This role is perfect for musicians, teaching artists, early childhood educators, and anyone passionate about helping young children and families make music, bond, and grow together. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves singing, movement, and creating joyful musical moments with families. Responsibilities • Lead a fun, developmentally appropriate Music Together® mixed-age class • Sing confidently and lead musical activities with clarity and enthusiasm • Model musical play and movement for both children and caregivers • Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive environment for all families • Communicate with the studio manager regarding attendance, class updates, and needs • Arrive early to set up the space and stay afterward to reset the room • Represent Music House values: community, creativity, accessibility, and family-centered learning Required: • Music Together training • Strong singing ability (can match pitch and lead confidently) • Comfort leading group musical activities with adults and young children • Warm, outgoing personality with strong communication skills • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable leading a weekly class • Interest in early childhood development and music education
