Musical Accompanist – Musical Production of CABARET

Provides musical piano accompaniment for auditions, rehearsals, and performances for the Department of Human Communication & Theatre’s Fall 2025 production of CABARET. Job Duties • Performs piano for all auditions, rehearsals and performances • Assists Musical Director with warm-ups and vocal technique Additional Duties • Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies. Experience Required: • Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends • Ability to interact with faculty, staff and students in a professional manner • Advanced musical instrument skills • Advanced music theory knowledge • Technical aspects of field of specialty • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions • Ability to transpose and arrange music
