Music education has the power to transform lives, and we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team of Teaching Artists. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our faculty to develop a comprehensive curriculum that inspires students from diverse backgrounds to reach their full potential. We value strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a vibrant and equitable community. The responsibilities include: • Collaborating with faculty to create lesson plans and instructional materials • Instructing instrumental studio and sectionals • Assisting with full orchestra rehearsals The ideal candidate will have excellent musicianship and artistry as a teacher/performer, with strong experience teaching beginning instrumentalists and working with children from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds.
