Job Opportunity for Musical Educators Responsibilities: • Teach applied music lessons in primary instrument area • Instruct pre-college music lesson program at an elementary school or on university campus • Collaborate with academic colleagues to promote musical excellence • Recruit prospective students for the music program • Other duties may include advising students, performing in ensembles, and assisting with service tasks as needed Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in music performance, pedagogy, or music education • Successful record of teaching/performing experience at the collegiate level or appropriate to departmental needs Essential Qualities: • Excellent communication skills musically, verbally, and in writing • Able to collaborate effectively with musicians in rehearsal, performance, and professional/personal interactions • Exhibit refined personal performance standards Applicants must be born-again Christians with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
