Join our team as a Musical Instrument Repair Specialist where you will play a vital role in bringing instruments back to their optimal playing condition. Your expertise will help us serve musicians and music lovers efficiently!

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently repair rental instruments upon their return.Ensure that all repairs meet our high quality standards and guidelines.Maintain detailed and accurate records for performance tracking.Take on additional tasks as required to support the team.About Music & Arts:

Music & Arts has been a cornerstone of music retail since 1952 when it was established in Bethesda, MD. We have expanded significantly over the decades and now operate more than 200 retail stores nationwide and serve numerous musicians, schools, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.Completion of an apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school.Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.Familiarity with standard repair shop tools and equipment.A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience repairing musical instruments.Solid understanding of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments and the ability to repair them efficiently.Preferred Qualifications:

4 years of relevant experience in musical instrument repair.Advanced knowledge of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments.Special Attributes:

Goal-driven and focused.Able to produce high-quality repairs efficiently.Open to feedback and guidance from management.Strong problem-solving and technical skills in diagnosing and repairing instruments.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Skilled in collaboration and communication within a close-knit team environment.Excited to join us?
