Music & Arts seeks an Instrument Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band, orchestra, and other instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons that fit their needs and budgets. You'll learn product features, handle basic point of sale and rental agreements, and help maintain appealing, organized displays. Working in our collaborative, education-focused culture, you'll engage with local schools, promote events and lesson programs, and support a welcoming, inclusive environment where customers of all ages feel inspired to make music.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessonsExplain features, pricing, and options for band and orchestra instrumentsProcess sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments at the POSMaintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displaysSupport school outreach and events to promote music educationProvide friendly, knowledgeable service to students, parents, and educatorsMeet or exceed individual and store sales goalsHandle basic inventory tasks such as restocking and tagging merchandiseCoordinate with repair, lesson, and school services teamsUphold company policies and contribute to a positive, inclusive cultureRequired Skills
