Job Title: French Horn Instructor This role is an excellent opportunity to share your passion for music and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. As a French horn instructor, you will be responsible for teaching individual lessons and creating a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development. Responsibilities: • Establish a rapport with students and their families, encouraging open discussion and communication • Provide expert music instruction, including demonstration and coaching • Manage studio operations, including recruitment, lesson planning, scheduling, and registration paperwork • Participate in the IVI department and engage in the overall work and mission of MacPhail Center for Music Qualifications: • Education: A degree or certification in music or music education is preferred • Experience: A minimum of three years of studio teaching experience working with all ages and skill levels is preferred • Skills and Abilities: Effective communication skills, cultural competency, and a commitment to contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
