Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers: High School (at least 16 years old and a Sophomore), College, and Adults (primarily not in school). Program Overview The Music Enrichment program provides instrumental music to patients during room‑to‑room visits as part of addressing the whole health of the individual. The goal of this program is to lift the emotional spirits of the patient, improve morale, increase energy levels, and provide stress relief through music as a diversion technique. Good customer service skills Good verbal communication and listening skills Musical instrument abilities: piano, wind, strings Caring, compassionate and empathetic Attentiveness to the needs of the patient Aware of and sensitive to the hospital environment Mature, positive service‑oriented individual Ability to walk through the facility carrying an instrument
