May accompany elective classes as determined by Music Supervisor or Department Chair. This is an hourly‑paid position working a maximum of 10 hours per week.Having a strong sense of rhythm is essential and one must be flexible to change music to meet the needs of the instructor. Arriving promptly, having instruments set up before class starts, and maintaining a positive attitude and respect are essential.Extensive experience as an accompanist for contemporary, African and ballet classes. Expertise with a wide range of appropriate musical literature for dance classes.
