The Pennsylvania Players, the oldest student-run and professionally-directed theatre company at the University of Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced professional to serve as Music Director for its Fall 2026 Musical.
We are looking for music directors to become an integral part of our creative team. We are in the finishing stages of selecting which musical we will be performing as we wait for rights requests to be approved.
Our show is set to run from 10/29/26-10/31/26 in the Harold Prince Theatre at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Penn's campus, with auditions being held 8/29-8/30 and callbacks on either 9/1 or 9/2. Rehearsals will take place between 6:30-10:30pm Sundays-Thursdays (but not all of these hours will necessarily be used, and you will not be called for all used rehearsal hours). Flat fee: $2500. Transportation and housing stipend not provided.
