Pianist and Organist Position This is a part-time non-exempt role requiring at least 2 hours per week, with variable hours and on-call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the Church including some weekend, holiday and evening work for weekend Masses and other events such as Christmas, Holy Week and Easter. • Recruiting, screening, training, assisting and supervising music ministry volunteers to serve as cantors, choristers and instrumentalists at liturgies and other events. • Ensuring adequate and regular time for rehearsal and direction prior to each liturgy or event, including personal instrumental and vocal direction when necessary or appropriate. • Organizing and maintaining sound equipment and musical instruments and arranging for routine repair, maintenance and replacement with the relevant authorities.
