Musician - Army National Guard

As a member of the Army National Guard band, you will have the opportunity to pursue your passion for music while serving your country. Key Responsibilities: • Perform as a soloist or as part of an ensemble, playing all styles of music • Tune and maintain musical instruments to high standards • Transcribe and perform moderately complex music You will also develop skills in areas such as music theory, sight-reading, and group instrumental techniques. Requirements: • A minimum of 1 year of formal music training or equivalent experience • Proficiency on a musical instrument, with the ability to learn and perform new pieces quickly • Strong communication and teamwork skills In addition to performing and practicing music, you will receive comprehensive Soldiering skills training, including first aid, combat tactics, and leadership development.
