Musician Assistant Director

Job Overview Job Summary: The Hawaii County, HI is seeking a highly skilled musician to serve as an Assistant Band Director. This position requires a strong musical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will assist in administrative responsibilities for the bands, including planning and coordinating monthly schedules of rehearsals and performances. Additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing timesheets and attachments for accuracy and conformance with contracts, rules, and procedures, transporting band instruments and equipment to and from performances, setting up and cleaning up at performances, caring for and maintaining instruments and equipment, and assisting in the maintenance of the band's music library and property control system.
