Church Musician - Bass Guitarist

New Vision Ministries in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a talented and dedicated Bass Guitarist to join our worship team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for worship, a strong sense of musicality, and the ability to work collaboratively with the music ministry to create a meaningful worship experience. This individual will be responsible for providing musical accompaniment during church services, special events, and rehearsals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Play bass guitar during Sunday worship services and special events (e.g., holiday services, church conferences).
Attend and participate in weekly rehearsals and any additional practice sessions as needed.
Be a team player, supporting other musicians and vocalists in creating a unified sound.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in bass guitar, with the ability to play a variety of styles (gospel, contemporary Christian, etc.).
Previous experience playing in a church or worship setting is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A heart for worship and a desire to use music to glorify God.
Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to be available for occasional events outside of regular services.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per week
