Musician for Hire: Seeking Accompanist

Part-Time Music Coach/Accompanist The Part-Time Music Coach/Accompanist will serve as a coach/accompanist in the Music Department. This individual must demonstrate an advanced level of performing and proficiency as a pianist and accompanist. This role requires: • Accompanying private music lessons and/or classes • Coaching and accompanying music students • Participating in and accompanying student juries and recitals • Accompanying rehearsals and performances • Participating in and accompanying auditions • Performing other duties as assigned To be successful, this individual should have: • Demonstrated experience as a professional musician and/or educational credential in accompanying • Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff • Excellent organizational skills • Experience coaching and accompanying advanced instrumental and vocal students, including in-depth knowledge of repertoire, historical and stylistic expertise
