Musician for School Masses

Morning Star Catholic School in Tampa is seeking a dedicated Musician to perform at weekly Masses for students with learning disabilities and related challenges. This position requires a deep understanding of Catholic Mass rituals, including special feast days and the specific music requirements that accompany them. Morning Star Catholic School is committed to providing a nurturing environment for students with diverse learning needs, and the Musician will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of the Mass for these students. Responsibilities • Perform music on the piano and organ during weekly Masses , • Lead singing and engage students during Mass , • Collaborate with school staff to ensure musical selections align with the Catholic Mass and school ethos Requirements • Proficiency in playing the piano and organ , • Ability to lead singing during Catholic Mass , • Familiarity with Catholic Mass rituals, special feast days, and music requirements , • Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening
