St. Olaf Parish in Poulsbo, WA is expanding its team by hiring an accompanist for a minimum of 1 weekend Mass per week, mainly at the Saturday 4:30 pm English service and one evening choir rehearsal during the week. The position may expand to accompany a Saturday evening 6:30 pm Spanish mass when needed. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated to organize and practice music for the Mass and to arrive up to 1 hour before Mass to practice with the cantor and choir. • Prior experience and familiarity with providing music in a church setting; experience in Catholic Liturgy would be a plus. Essential Qualifications: • Ability to read music, play piano proficiently (organ experience a plus).
