Holy Disciples Parish in Puyallup (South Hill), WA is looking for an accompanist to play at two Sunday Masses, 8:00am and 10:30am, every other weekend. This position may also include the possibility of playing for funerals, weddings, Holy Days, Penance Services, etc. Essential Position Duties... The accompanist main role is to work with the Choir Director to lead the congregation in praise of God by helping them to sing the various parts of the Mass, hymns and chant. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated to organize and practice music for the Mass and to arrive up to 1 hour before Mass to practice with the cantor and choir.
