St. Olaf Parish in Poulsbo, WA is expanding its team by hiring an accompanist for a minimum of 1 weekend Mass per week, mainly at the Saturday 4:30 pm English service and one evening choir rehearsal during the week. The position may expand to accompany a Saturday evening 6:30 pm Spanish mass when needed. The accompanist main role is to work with the Choir Director to lead the congregation in praise of God by helping them to sing the various parts of the Mass, hymns and chant. • Prior experience and familiarity with providing music in a church setting; experience in Catholic Liturgy would be a plus. Essential Qualifications: • Ability to read music, play piano proficiently (organ experience a plus).
