Job Details Job Location : 0113 St. Olaf Parish, Poulsbo - Poulsbo, WA Position Type : Part Time Salary Range : $40.00 - $55.00 Hourly St. Olaf Parish in Poulsbo, WA is expanding its team by hiring an accompanist for a minimum of 1 weekend Mass per week, mainly at the Saturday 4:30 pm English service and one evening choir rehearsal during the week. The position may expand to accompany a Saturday evening 6:30 pm Spanish mass when needed. Essential Position Duties: The accompanist's main role is to work with the Choir Director to lead the congregation in praise of God by helping them to sing the various parts of the Mass, hymns, and chant. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated to organize and practice music for the Mass and to arrive up to 1 hour before Mass to practice with the cantor and choir. Prior experience and familiarity with providing music in a church setting; experience in Catholic Liturgy would be a plus.
