Continuing the legacy of Hawaii's diverse culture through the power of music.
Are you a professional musician ready to be part of a band with a royal historical legacy dating back to 1836? The Royal Hawaiian Band is seeking an experienced flutist to perform on the flute and related instruments as part of a world-renowned ensemble.
This role goes beyond performance as you will help set the musical standard within the flute section while contributing to a dynamic and diverse repertoire.
In addition to performing Hawaiian music, the Band performs marches, orchestral transcriptions, pop arrangements, Broadway selections, and movie soundtracks.
Be ready to perform regularly at iconic venues such as the Iolani Palace and the Kapiolani Park Bandstand, as well as festivals and events throughout the year.
AS PART OF THEIR SELECTION CRITERIA, THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN BAND WILL CONDUCT LIVE BLIND PERFORMANCE AUDITIONS AND ORAL SELECTION INTERVIEWS.
CANDIDATES ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN TRAVEL.
